Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the forklift safely to run production operations and service hauliers.
  • •Safely and efficiently direct visiting vehicles while loading and offloading goods.
  • •Maintain production line activity flow within service level agreements.
  • •Assist with manual inspection and repair of equipment stock in yards.
  • •Ensure trucks and equipment are well maintained, report operational problems, and handle hire stock and raw materials with correct stock rotations.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working in a busy yard environment, including loading and unloading HGVs and moving pallet stacks.
  • •Experience working on double or triple fork forklifts (FLT).
  • •External FLT license (RTITB or ITSSAR) preferred, with acceptance of in-house licenses with a view to obtaining an external license.
  • •Ability to operate safely and work consistently to quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
  • •Comfort maintaining compliance to operating standards and supporting service level agreements.
