Job Summary

Senior credit professional responsible for end-to-end credit ownership from underwriting to approvals for a Retail & Consumer Goods portfolio within Wholesale Banking, guiding deal structuring, risk assessment, and policy compliance while coordinating with Coverage and Product teams to meet client needs and bank requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare comprehensive credit papers outlining key risks, mitigations, and recommendations for prospective and existing clients under the assigned portfolio.
•Coordinate with Relationship Managers well in advance of due dates of annual reviews to obtain information for a comprehensive credit facility review.
•Ensure credit processing and approval turnaround times as per SLAs with the Business Segment.
•Conduct periodic client meetings/conference calls with RMs for prospective and existing clients.
•Monitor accounts and ensure compliance with approval conditions, risk ratings, and collateral valuations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•Desirable: MBA or professional finance certification (CFA/FRM) or diploma.
•Minimum 10 years relevant banking experience with at least 4-5 years in Corporate/Wholesale Credit.
•Proven experience in corporate credit underwriting across Retail & Consumer Goods, TMT, and Real Estate portfolios.
•Strong credit underwriting, financial analysis, and deal structuring skills.
