Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead complex projects across key company-wide objectives within the Backend Functional Team.
  • •Mentor and develop engineers as you grow the Backend Team's capabilities.
  • •Write pragmatic, performant, testable code using Perl (Version 5), Go, and Node.js for consumer-facing products.
  • •Collaborate remotely with peers to solve product issues and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • •Work on AI-assisted answers, AI chat features (Duck.ai), and sophisticated data processing pipelines to maintain search relevancy.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 178,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of professional backend experience with consumer-facing products
  • •Product acumen to reason about technical tradeoffs and user impact
  • •Familiarity with AI agent tooling: evaluation frameworks, RAG pipelines and prompt engineering
  • •Fundamental understanding of data structures and algorithms with ability to develop and improve code
  • •Data-driven analytical skills for decision-making, stakeholder alignment, and experiment-oriented delivery
