Key Responsibilities

  • •Disassemble, inspect, disposition, and reassemble customer field returns of high-volume units using approved component overhaul manuals/technical documents.
  • •Perform repair/overhaul tasks according to FAA, EASA, and CAAC approved procedures.
  • •Create concise, accurate documentation packages for every repaired or overhauled unit and maintain current procedural knowledge.
  • •Communicate with coworkers and internal teams (e.g., quality, customer service, stock room) and external customers/auditors as required to process repairs efficiently.
  • •Complete and document required training/re-training for FAA recordkeeping and participate in departmental continuous improvement; perform other duties such as receiving/shipping, final test, pump testing, and non-destructive testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school diploma/GED (or an accredited trade school/trade certificate) plus 2 years of mechanical assembly and/or mechanical maintenance experience (pumps, motors).
  • •In lieu of HSD/GED, 10 years experience in mechanical assembly, machining, and/or maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps and motors.
  • •This position requires access to export-controlled information; applicant must be a U.S. person (as defined in the posting).
  • •Ability to develop and maintain understanding of FAA, EASA, and CAAC approved procedures and requirements.
  • •Preferred: aerospace environment experience; familiarity with CMMs, engineering drawings, repair sketches, and MFG-Pro/ERP experience.
