Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Business Credit Office tasks aligned to objectives, service levels, and KPIs across the Credit & Capital Management servicing journey.
  • •Coordinate credit applications and renewals, manage risk escalations, and support client credit analysis and credit proposal submissions.
  • •Maintain credit quality through periodic credit reviews; track and report covenant and approval condition compliance and escalate deviations to the Risk team.
  • •Ensure consistent application of HSBC policies and adherence to regulatory, financial, and legal standards, acting as first line of defense and supporting internal controls.
  • •Prepare and verify security documentation, liaise with internal teams, and support reporting including exposure analysis related to Thermal Coal Phase Out Policy applicability.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduation/Post Graduation in Management, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent such as a Chartered Accountant, CFA, FRM, or local equivalent).
  • •4 to 6 years of relevant experience in corporate banking/finance and lending-related activities.
  • •Capital markets certifications in Mutual Funds, Derivatives, Stock Markets (added advantage).
  • •Strong understanding of risk management and credit risk, including ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • •Highly proficient in Excel and Word; basic knowledge of Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, and other Treasury Products is required.
