Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design, assessment, and optimization of tailings storage facilities (TSFs) and mine waste systems across all project phases
•Apply advanced geotechnical engineering principles to evaluate slope stability, seepage, drainage, and long-term performance
•Deliver high-quality engineering analyses, reports, drawings, and technical specifications that support safe and efficient designs
•Support Engineer of Record (EOR) mandates, dam safety reviews, and risk assessments
•Manage or contribute to project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, and quality control

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering
•8–12+ years of experience in mine waste, tailings, or related geotechnical engineering roles
•Demonstrated experience with tailings dams, waste rock piles, heap leach pads, or similar facilities
•Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory frameworks and dam safety guidelines
•Proficiency with geotechnical analysis software such as GeoStudio, PLAXIS, FLAC, or equivalent
