Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and technical direction to customers and field personnel for diagnostic and long-term maintenance of Bently Nevada equipment and rotating machinery.
  • •Perform installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada hardware and software at customer locations.
  • •Diagnose machinery problems using vibration, process, performance data, maintenance records, and customer communications; complete timely service reports with findings and recommendations.
  • •Set up and install permanently and temporarily mounted transducers and monitors, and acquire/interpret field data using MDS/System 1 instruments.
  • •Conduct fieldwork that may include field balancing, impact tests, ODS and basic modal analysis, torsional analysis, and travel while adhering to BH HSE and customer requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a minimum 4-year technical degree (BSc or MSc Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • •Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Machinery Diagnostics Services Field Services.
  • •Have knowledge and experience with mechanical vibration and rotating machinery vibration/diagnostics, rotor dynamic analysis, machinery balancing and alignment.
  • •Be able to interpret and understand machinery mechanical and electrical system drawings and specifications.
  • •Have a Certificate as a Vibration Analyst level 3 or higher (preferred).
