Lead, coach, and develop the Internal Sales Desk within Symetra's Retirement division to drive annuity sales in the Independent Channel. Manage compliance, FINRA/state regulatory requirements, and onboarding; design training programs aligned to product launches; translate daily activity into strategic objectives; mentor staff, oversee performance, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee staff in areas related to compliance, policies and procedures, FINRA, state insurance and other regulatory entities as required.
•Provide staff with scheduled and customized coaching via biweekly call reviews and monthly one on one meetings.
•Provide direction and dissemination of how daily activity translates into the overall objectives of sales and Symetra as a whole; address concerns and any issues that would prohibit said objectives from being met.
•Conduct training and development sessions as needed in line with key initiatives such as product launches, new firm/bank onboarding and technology implementation.
•Monitor, escalate and act on performance management issues and provide a leadership role in delivering recognition programs.
