Job Summary

Lead QA automation for embedded camera systems and AI-driven video analytics. Design, develop, and optimize automated test solutions for hardware, software, and cloud components; own end-to-end quality through test pipelines, UI and API validations, and collaboration with software, firmware, data science, and product teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases for edge devices and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with a small team of Quality assurance engineers and Quality technicians.
•Lead design and implementation of a quality evaluation pipeline, workflows, and reporting service for automatically testing IoT devices code prior to release.
•Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance strategy for edge-based video surveillance cameras and cloud-based services.
•Execute quality assurance testing strategies for OTA firmware releases for cameras and appliances.
•Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, or equivalent experience from a technical engineering discipline.
•1 to 7+ years of experience in quality assurance automation engineering.
•Experience leading a small team, evaluating performance and managing direct reports successfully.
•Expertise in developing and authoring Python, C++, and Javascript automation software to test individual software components, web-enabled embedded hardware, IoT, and/or Robotics.
•Strong background in cloud-connected applications with platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
