Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor compliance with the approved AA Maintenance Program and applicable CFR.
  • •Maintain inspection staff compliance with designated QC and maintenance programs as directed by QC Manager.
  • •Supervise and manage union inspectors for day-to-day audits, visual inspection, functional testing, measurements, non-destructive testing, and borescope work.
  • •Lead audits of completed tasks to ensure physical work matches provided instructions and document/report deficiencies to AA Quality Control leadership.
  • •Certify airworthiness of aircraft released for service and return of components; ensure inspectors have proper qualifications and recommend updated procedures/programs as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • •4 years of experience in operating and repairing air carrier maintenance programs.

  • •Experience monitoring and improving organizational performance; preferred: 5+ years in a supervisor role overseeing Part 121 maintenance programs.
