Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect eggs, scan barcodes with a handheld scanner, and record egg counts and line/flat identification standards.
  • •Perform daily flock care including calculating pounds per pen, weighing flocks, distributing feed, monitoring injury/illness, and recording flock mortality.
  • •Maintain flock environment by flushing water lines weekly, maintaining bedding and nests, and clearing dust from equipment once a week.
  • •Collect weekly lab samples using boot swabs for environment and cleft pallet swabs for birds.
  • •Perform additional duties as assigned, including sanitation and basic vehicle upkeep.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (or 18 months if laid off or providing child/elder care).
