Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and integrate complex prototype electrical and mechanical assemblies per engineering drawings, CAD models, and evolving design requirements.
  • •Execute prototype builds from incoming inspection through final validation, ensuring quality documentation, traceability, and configuration control.
  • •Perform low-voltage electrical integration, PCB handling, subsystem installation, functional verification, and prototype rework activities.
  • •Diagnose assembly and integration issues, conduct root cause analysis, and partner with engineering teams on corrective actions and design improvements.
  • •Use Jira to manage prototype build activities, document deviations/inspection results, and maintain complete engineering traceability.

  • •Strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, PCB handling, connectors, fasteners, and torque specifications.
  • •Proficient with precision measurement instruments, electrical test equipment, and hand/power tools.
  • •Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and assembly documentation.
  • •Experience supporting prototype manufacturing in fast-paced engineering development environments, including prototype quality and deviation management.
