Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain all sections of furnace melting systems through teardown, rebuild, and maintenance.
  • •Teardown and evaluate crucibles, heating coils, and related parts for necessary repair or replacement.
  • •Use arc welder or gas torch to make repairs, including brazing coils and welding support members.
  • •Repair or replace cracked or damaged refractory, then reassemble with proper isolation and ram filler.
  • •Support additional required maintenance tasks and follow ACE and all EH&S guidelines, including required PPE.
