Job Summary

Identify, develop, and implement strategies and projects to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product/service quality. Analyze work content, processes, and technical systems using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process-optimization methods. Create reports and support decisions for investments, coordinate budgeting, and plan project work packages. Lead teams and collaborate across Einkauf and Operations to track targets for quality, cost, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze work content, processes, and operational conditions to identify improvement opportunities within the plants and support optimization potential searches.
•Analyze work content, processes, and technical systems using standard methods and support relevant operating areas.
•Develop evaluations, improvements, and possible alternatives, including sell-/as-is comparisons for required capacities and machines.
•Realize improvement measures in collaboration with Procurement and Operations, including decision documents and investment request documentation; track investment requests and coordinate budgeting.
•Implement optimization potential by leading teams and participating in projects; monitor quality, cost, and timeline targets and report current status, creating action packages when deviations occur.

Key Requirements

•Completed at least a 4-year university degree or a 3-year specialized vocational training plus at least 2 years of further training and relevant work experience.
•Experience in project management and with Lean / Six Sigma processes and tools.
•Basic understanding of how ERP and MES systems function, plus good PC skills.
•Knowledge of QW processes and strong technical baseline understanding.
•Fluent in German and English; strong team and communication skills with high self-organization and initiative.
