Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technology design, planning, and deployment of wireless solutions for reliability, availability, latency, resilience, and performance targets across Wi‑Fi 8 environments.
  • •Collaborate with customers to plan, design, configure, and validate Cisco wireless technologies, including Wi‑Fi standards through Wi‑Fi 8, Layer 2 protocols, WLAN technologies, and 802.1X security types.
  • •Write and uplift Python test automation scripts to improve wireless testing frameworks and automation efficiency, and develop AI/ML-driven test plans tailored to Wi‑Fi 8 reliability needs.
  • •Support integration and implementation of wireless tools and service assurance, including continuous monitoring and telemetry analysis for latency, packet loss, roaming, interference, and reliability conditions.
  • •Drive presales solution design support, create technical documentation and test-plan artifacts, and perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions for escaped defects.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep domain knowledge of Cisco wireless technologies, including current Wi‑Fi generations and emerging Wi‑Fi 8 (IEEE 802.11bn) concepts.
  • •Working knowledge of Wi‑Fi standards and Ultra High Reliability objectives, including deterministic/tail-latency behavior, packet-loss reduction, and roaming continuity.
  • •Strong expertise applying AI/ML to test automation and productivity improvements.
  • •Experience writing comprehensive test plans and building automation tools for wireless functional, interoperability, roaming, latency, packet-loss, reliability, and performance validation.
  • •Strong troubleshooting skills for wireless issues (interference, congestion, roaming, latency, packet loss) plus excellent communication with customers.
