Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and support Java full-stack microservices for FX services for financial institution clients.
  • •Work hands-on with Linux-deployed services and integrate SQL databases (Sybase/Oracle/PostgreSQL) with front-end using Angular/React.
  • •Automate and improve testing/deployment and ensure live systems are instrumented to support production.
  • •Monitor shared live systems with colleagues in London, and fix issues including occasionally out of hours.
  • •Ensure compliance with internal cybersecurity controls and remediate vulnerabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •5-10 years hands-on experience as a Java full stack engineer with microservices concepts and familiarity with Spring/Boot.
  • •Proficiency with server-side languages such as Java; node.js, Ruby, or Golang are a plus.
  • •Strong UI framework experience (JavaScript frameworks such as Angular/React).
  • •Experience with database technologies including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • •Degree in engineering, information systems, or related; financial services/investment banking experience is valuable; fluent English.
