Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage cost control on behalf of the Contracting Entity, monitoring anticipated final project costs and ensuring budgetary goals are met.
  • •Oversee day-to-day activities of Intermediate Quantity Surveyors and support their delivery of cost management processes.
  • •Develop and maintain cost management processes, policies, and strategy for the programme, ensuring compliance with cost control standards.
  • •Oversee variations, monthly cashflow forecasting, retention, liquidated damages, and provide advice on financial impacts of risks.
  • •Support measurement and valuations (schedules of rates/Bills of Quantities, payment certificates, final accounts) and support contract claims and final account negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years’ experience, at least 3+ years within the aviation/transport infrastructure industry.
  • •Clear understanding of and ability to work with construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • •Strong experience delivering technically complex, high-value infrastructure projects.
  • •Experience in a comparable consultancy environment or with a client or contractor organisation.
  • •Knowledge of cost management principles, methods, techniques, and tools, including standard method of measurement.
