Key Responsibilities

  • •Steward end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of platform-deployed machine learning applications.
  • •Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and ML engineers, translating technical requirements from gaming-adjacent domains to ML.
  • •Exercise judgment in deploying off-the-shelf solutions, customizing open-source solutions, or initiating greenfield applied science research.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional work to turn platform director requests into engineering-ready plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a Tech Lead/Engineering Manager in a customer-facing AI/ML team with a consulting mindset.
  • •Experience with multi-disciplinary technical teams (e.g., robotics, smart grids, precision agriculture, game development, aerospace).
  • •Experience managing a team of around 10 direct reports, establishing ways of working, and developing high-performing engineers.
  • •Ability to translate customer requests into actionable technical requirement documents with ML engineers.
  • •Fluency across the machine learning lifecycle, including infrastructure for data, training, and deployment; familiarity with Python, Git, PyTorch, and Unix shell preferred.
