Job Summary

Manage the venue security department to ensure guest, employee, artist, and venue safety. Partner with the General Manager and Operations Manager to maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Recruit, train, supervise, and discipline security staff; oversee scheduling, entrance screening, access control, and crowd monitoring; handle payroll input, investigate complaints, and produce daily incident reports to support smooth, safe events.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee overall management of the security department to ensure guest, employee, artist, and venue safety.
•Work with leadership to ensure compliance with security policies/procedures and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
•Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline security staff; organize meetings and direct work assignments.
•Schedule, assign, oversee, and train staff on entrance screening, access control, crowd control, and monitoring guest behavior.
•Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees/visitors to prevent theft, resolve security complaints, and write daily incident reports.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
•At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a live music environment.
•Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures in an event venue.
•Ability to work various, flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and/or similar software.
