Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and approve civil and structural engineering deliverables prepared by EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
  • •Ensure designs comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, international codes, and industry best practices.
  • •Provide technical guidance on civil and structural engineering matters and resolve interface concerns with multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Review civil and structural calculations, specifications, drawings, and material submittals for foundations, pipe racks, buildings, roads, drainage/stormwater, underground utilities, and retaining/boundary structures.
  • •Support construction through commissioning and handover, including reviews of methodologies, temporary works, non-conformance resolution, audits, risk/HSE compliance, and progress reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • •Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification preferred.
  • •Typically 15+ years of civil/structural engineering experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sector.
  • •Minimum 5–8 years of experience in PMC, EPC, or major capital projects, including FEED through handover.
