Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and support Gravure Press activities in required areas (Press Room, Roll Stand tasks, Folder/Gluer, and/or Material Handling).
  • •Receive and transfer product, stack and place on pallets, and print pallet labels using job docket/set-up information.
  • •Perform quality checks by reviewing jobs for quality and accuracy; notify operators immediately of any problems or errors.
  • •Handle make-ready and downtime responsibilities including purging stacks, changing impression rollers, doctor blades setup/breakdown, inks/solvent cylinder changes, and press clean-up.
  • •As part of the Press Crew, safely move and manage materials (including forklift duties where applicable), record required information, and comply with OHSE, cGMP, HACCP, and Chain of Custody procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High School diploma (or GED) and 1 to 3 years related production experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform production tasks.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and other physical demands.
  • •Must be dependable in attendance and punctuality; ability to rotate shifts and work 8+ hours per day/40 hours per week when needed.
