Job Summary

Oversee daily operations of assigned asphalt facilities, leading teams to deliver products that meet safety, integrity, and quality standards. Plan and implement operational changes based on plant performance and sales demand, coordinate maintenance and staffing needs, and manage daily reporting and work assignments. Serve as liaison with Quality Control and regulatory inspectors, control variable costs, and support budgeting and capital replacement/profit improvement projects while driving continuous improvement through preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide daily leadership for assigned asphalt facilities, driving Safety, Integrity, and Quality and working toward “ZERO.”
•Coordinate asphalt operations and associates to produce a quality product at the most efficient cost; plan operational changes based on performance and sales demand.
•Manage daily reporting, issue work assignments, verify training, and ensure equipment requirements are met.
•Act as liaison between Quality Control and regulatory inspectors and support customer service through strong communication.
•Analyze variable costs, assist with annual operating budgets and capital replacement/profit improvement projects, and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS/BA in Civil Engineering or practical work experience with 10+ years in the field.
•At least 5 years of asphalt operations experience plus a leadership role.
•Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Knowledge of operating procedures and mechanics of an asphalt plant.
•Ability to read English and work with regulations and safety requirements; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
