Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Field Verification platform end to end.
  • •Move the platform from keep-the-lights-on operation to deliberate, prioritised development.
  • •Lead and grow the cross-functional team, building the organization as scope expands.
  • •Build operational efficiency capabilities including trip/route optimization, task allocation, and capacity management for field officers.
  • •Own the client-facing surface (APIs and webhooks) and deliver a native mobile experience for field officers.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of overall software engineering experience with substantial hands-on production engineering and strong backend depth.
  • •5+ years of engineering leadership, including managing Engineering Managers.
  • •Credibility across backend, web, and mobile since the platform spans all three layers.
  • •Experience building systems used by multiple internal groups/users, with flexibility to support unanticipated requirements.
  • •Strong backend environment experience with Java and Spring Boot, plus a plus for location/geospatial data and route/trip optimization.
