Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership and management for the nuclear safety case team and deputise for the Nuclear Safety Case Discipline Lead as required.
•Lead strategic safety case delivery on projects and support winning work through bid activities.
•Develop relationships with clients to ensure a right-first-time approach to technical delivery and advise on regulatory compliance and guidance.
•Mentor and coach the nuclear safety case team and deliver nuclear safety training to internal and external stakeholders.
•Oversee the full project cycle from concept to delivery, including design, procurement, subcontract, factory acceptance, installation, site acceptance and commissioning.

Key Requirements

•MEng/BEng in Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
•Chartered Engineer in relevant discipline (or working towards)
•Extensive experience developing nuclear safety cases in the nuclear sector
•Strong leadership with ability to influence engineers and manage engineering work packages
•Track record of successful end-to-end project delivery and strong communication skills
