Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and management for the nuclear safety case team and deputise for the Nuclear Safety Case Discipline Lead as required.
  • •Lead strategic safety case delivery on projects and support winning work through bid activities.
  • •Develop relationships with clients to ensure a right-first-time approach to technical delivery and advise on regulatory compliance and guidance.
  • •Mentor and coach the nuclear safety case team and deliver nuclear safety training to internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Oversee the full project cycle from concept to delivery, including design, procurement, subcontract, factory acceptance, installation, site acceptance and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •MEng/BEng in Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
  • •Chartered Engineer in relevant discipline (or working towards)
  • •Extensive experience developing nuclear safety cases in the nuclear sector
  • •Strong leadership with ability to influence engineers and manage engineering work packages
  • •Track record of successful end-to-end project delivery and strong communication skills
