Job Summary

Join the CDN Content team at Vercel to build and improve the services that deliver static assets, optimized images, ISR/PPR, and prerendered shells across a planet-scale global CDN. You’ll implement end-to-end serving path changes with progressive rollouts, ship dashboards and production metrics, strengthen observability and testing, and participate in on-call and incident follow-ups. Work spans Go, Lua, and TypeScript in close partnership with Next.js.

•Build and improve services behind ISR, PPR, and image optimization across the CDN serving path.
•Execute well-defined projects end to end, including safe rollouts using feature flags, shadow modes, and progressive deployment.
•Monitor and maintain production systems by building dashboards, adding metrics and alerts, and owning what you ship.
•Improve observability and testing through dashboards, log views, and e2e test suites.
•Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident follow-ups to improve system resilience.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience building and operating backend services in production.
•Proficiency in at least one of Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or a comparable systems language.

•Ability to write code that is tested, instrumented, and documented for operation in production.
•Curiosity to investigate unfamiliar code and production data to solve problems.
