Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute material strategies to support program objectives and manage supplier, program, and IPT reviews with procurement-plan visibility and supply-chain escalations.
  • •Implement a forward-looking procurement approach by identifying procurement/delivery gaps and leveraging support teams to improve product delivery throughput.
  • •Develop and execute risk and opportunity (R&O) plans to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and program responsibilities, including proactive mitigation management.
  • •Manage budgets for buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process, including supplier can-build oversight using metrics and health assessments.
  • •Support prime proposals and program start-up (Material Product Strategies/Plans), evaluate supplier proposals/quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and flow customer/product requirements to suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent experience) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • •Basic knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process and practical knowledge of project and material management.
  • •Financial acumen, including experience with forecasting.
  • •Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function.
  • •U.S. citizenship required for access to information under the program/contract.
