Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyse and assess private markets investment opportunities, including transaction structuring, risk assessment, and financial modelling.
  • •Support the sourcing, execution, and ongoing management of investments across Structured Credit and wider Private Markets strategies.
  • •Conduct credit and relative value analysis to identify investment opportunities and enhance portfolio returns.
  • •Build and maintain cash flow models and investment recommendations to support decision-making.
  • •Monitor portfolio performance, emerging risks, and covenant compliance, supporting asset management and restructuring activity where required.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in an investment role (buy-side or sell-side) assessing private debt instruments, including Structured Credit & Mortgage investments.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Intex and/or VBA is advantageous.
  • •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to deliver high-quality work at pace with attention to detail.
  • •Experience working with self-direction, prioritisation, and effective stakeholder management across multiple workstreams.
  • •Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience; additional study such as a Master’s, CFA, or CQF would be beneficial but not essential.
