Own the audio hardware and firmware systems that enable NEO to communicate naturally. Design, integrate, and optimize microphone and speaker systems while partnering with teams working on signal processing, machine learning, and perception. Drive concept development through prototyping, validation, system integration, and production deployment, improving speech capture, localization accuracy, noise suppression, and overall audio reliability in real home environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the audio hardware and firmware systems enabling communication between humans and robots
•Design, integrate, and optimize microphone and speaker systems
•Partner with software teams on signal processing, machine learning, and perception capabilities
•Develop and execute validation methodologies and performance metrics for product readiness and production deployment
•Improve audio system performance via field testing, data analysis, and cross-functional engineering collaboration

Salary: USD 173,861 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
•Extensive experience designing audio hardware systems, including microphones, speakers, and associated signal chains
•Hands-on experience with audio measurement and validation equipment
•Experience with real-time audio streaming systems and digital signal processing techniques
•Ability to analyze test data and drive iterative improvements to system performance
