Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project managers and portfolio teams to deliver construction activities safely and effectively across multiple intermediate-to-large capital projects.
  • •Ensure construction project safety, quality, schedule, and financial results, including planning, organizing, directing, staffing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting.
  • •Negotiate complex construction and physical plant-related contracts with major vendors and oversee execution to contractual specifications.
  • •Support senior management with strategic planning, staffing, budgeting, continuous improvement, and delivery of company goals.
  • •Provide regular progress reporting with KPIs, risk management updates, delay/claim/dispute status, and accurate cost and schedule forecasts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering/engineering technology/architecture/construction or project management (or business/management) and 10 years of project management experience, including 3 years of formal leadership experience; or Associate degree with 12 years and 3 years leadership; or High School Diploma with 14 years and 3 years leadership.
  • •Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required or must be obtained within one year of entry into the position.
  • •Lead and manage teams of project managers, supervisors, contractors, and support personnel across multiple capital projects.
  • •Negotiate complex construction and physical plant-related vendor contracts and ensure performance against contractual terms and specifications.
  • •Demonstrate advanced analytical and project management capabilities, including risk management, financial/economic analysis, and continuous improvement execution.
