Key Responsibilities

  • •Process precious and base metals trades, including outgoing confirmations and invoices, supporting Front Office and operations stakeholders.
  • •Provide day-to-day support to the direct manager, ensuring accurate processing and timely execution of client metal transfer instructions within market deadlines.
  • •Review daily reconciliations, investigate breaks, and ensure accurate processing of physical/shipping movements in compliance with Financial Crime and Compliance policies.
  • •Handle client queries and contribute to due diligence requests, ensuring desk instructions are updated.
  • •Resolve reconciliation breaks and take steps to prevent repeat occurrence, while supporting high-volume operations and covering roles as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge and experience of physical metals procedures, with Metals Clearing & settlements/operations preferred.
  • •Experience dealing with external clients and strong communication skills.
  • •Ability to prioritise and manage a large, varied workload while meeting cut-off times.
  • •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with risk awareness and ability to mitigate appropriately.
  • •Flexibility to cover multiple roles when required, with a proven track record working within finance/investment operations.
