Lead the Applications function at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, ensuring availability, configuration, and evolution of core enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft 365/Azure. Key Responsibilities

•Ensure availability, configuration, and ongoing management of Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft 365/Azure.
•Own platform-level roadmaps and establish/lead a platform Centre of Excellence with standards and delivery patterns.
•Lead engineering practice across applications, including source control governance, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, release management, and test strategy/automation.
•Define and enforce technical execution standards and engineering/architectural patterns, including Infrastructure as Code.
•Own AI platform operations for internal AI platforms, including monitoring for drift/misuse, and manage AI consumption cost and budget.

Key Requirements

•Significant senior leadership experience running enterprise application functions in a mid-to-large global organisation.
•Deep expertise in at least two enterprise platforms: Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft 365/Azure, or AWS (configuration, integration, governance, licensing, support).
•Experience embedding modern engineering practice including CI/CD, source control governance, environment management, release management, and automated testing in a SaaS-heavy environment.
•Track record building and running Centres of Excellence around major platforms.
•Experience operationalising AI platforms and managing AI consumption cost is a strong advantage.
