Job Summary

Define and deliver product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for complex technology platforms within Mastercard’s Next Edge program. Bridge business objectives and technical execution by collaborating with engineering, architecture, operations, and stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and resilient payments products. Own feature vision and the product backlog, translate customer needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and use customer/product metrics to continuously improve and guide post-launch iterations.

•Own the vision for one or more features and decompose business requirements and customer experiences into platform/product roadmap capabilities.
•Own and prioritize the product backlog and stay engaged across the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
•Collaborate with Technical Program Managers and Software Engineers to define details behind business requirements and review demos against acceptance criteria.
•Analyze customer/product metrics to inform the backlog, recommend trade-offs, and ensure post-launch feedback is incorporated into future feature sets.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of Product Management experience.
•3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
•Strong Agile mindset with experience delivering iteratively and collaborating cross-functionally in a large organization.
•Proficiency grooming features and user stories, defining entry/exit criteria, and prioritizing a platform product backlog.
•Ability to engage in technical discussions for distributed/real-time systems, including knowledge of networking/routing, event-driven architectures, gRPC, scalability, and resiliency (including familiarity with payments messages like ISO 8583 / ISO 20022).
