Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design and analysis of roadways for design-build and alternative delivery projects
  • •Operate and apply roadway design software (Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads) and perform design calculations including Superelevation, SSD, DSD and acceleration/deceleration lanes
  • •Engage with project teams and state DOT requirements to develop safe, cost-effective highway designs
  • •Collaborate with junior engineers and designers to prepare constructible drawings and model roadways
  • •Support senior engineers and task leads in project coordination and design reviews

Key Requirements

  • •BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Roadway CAD Designers & Roadway Modelers)
  • •BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Junior Level Engineers)
  • •BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Mid-Level Engineers)
  • •BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads)
  • •EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience
