Job Summary

Install and support Philips medical imaging equipment across the South Zone (AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, and TX). Learn the installation process, qualify and perform work in one or more modalities, and troubleshoot/repair equipment using electronics, mechanical, and networking knowledge. Handle customer service and required administrative documentation while working in office/home-office and healthcare environments with up to 100% travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Learn the installation process and build rapport with customers while identifying and resolving customer issues.
•Perform installs, diagnose, and repair equipment in the required modality(ies), including staying current on technical advances and industry trends.
•Adopt best practices and manage personal scheduling while being available to assist others.
•Complete administrative duties and documentation (timesheets, work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventive maintenance, installation/site/service paperwork) within required timeframes.
•Work flexible hours/on-call rotations as needed and travel within the South Zone to customer sites, including weekend stays and occasional international travel if required.

Key Requirements

•1+ years’ experience in a diagnostic imaging field or hospital-based service environment, or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
•Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment using necessary tools and test equipment.
•Must be qualified and perform work in at least one modality; may be asked to qualify and perform in multiple modalities.
•Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
•Ability to work in office/home office and hospital/healthcare settings and safely work with radiation sources/radioactive materials (with PPE).
