Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn the installation process and build rapport with customers while identifying and resolving customer issues.
  • •Perform installs, diagnose, and repair equipment in the required modality(ies), including staying current on technical advances and industry trends.
  • •Adopt best practices and manage personal scheduling while being available to assist others.
  • •Complete administrative duties and documentation (timesheets, work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventive maintenance, installation/site/service paperwork) within required timeframes.
  • •Work flexible hours/on-call rotations as needed and travel within the South Zone to customer sites, including weekend stays and occasional international travel if required.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years’ experience in a diagnostic imaging field or hospital-based service environment, or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
  • •Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment using necessary tools and test equipment.
  • •Must be qualified and perform work in at least one modality; may be asked to qualify and perform in multiple modalities.
  • •Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
  • •Ability to work in office/home office and hospital/healthcare settings and safely work with radiation sources/radioactive materials (with PPE).
