Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in designing and setting up new operating models for portfolio/fund structures across Alternatives investment capabilities.
  • •Support changes to existing operating models to reflect new services, processes, and controls.
  • •Contribute to end-to-end process mapping with functional architecture and 1st/2nd line risk and controls to obtain guidance and assurance.
  • •Develop a global operating framework with complexity and risk assessment and comprehensive documentation according to HSBC standards.
  • •Engage with third-party providers to assess product and technology services for Alternatives capabilities and support operational due diligence for inorganic initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Working experience exposed to Alternatives products, preferably in investment operations or a similar middle-office function within asset management.
  • •Experience with Real Assets and/or Private Credit operating models and fund structures is a plus.
  • •Experience managing operational risk in a changing environment.
  • •Effective project management, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work to deadlines accurately.
  • •Fluency in English; other languages are advantageous.
