Job Summary

Shape the frontend architecture for customer-facing Accounts & Payments experiences during a major transformation in the banking space. You’ll collaborate with UX, product, architects, developers, and banking specialists in agile teams to design secure, high-performing, accessible solutions using modern web frameworks. Lead principles and standards, contribute to PoCs, support scaled agile delivery, and help evolve SEB’s payments and reporting architecture through cross-team communities.

Key Responsibilities

•Set and continuously improve frontend architecture that drives SEB’s customer experience in line with business priorities.
•Collaborate with channel owners, project managers, and developers to define and align solution designs and architectural inputs.
•Advise and support development teams by setting principles and standards, co-designing solutions, and guiding architectural evolution.
•Contribute to payments and SEB-wide architecture through communities of practice and cross-team collaboration.
•Support project and epic delivery in a Scaled Agile setup, contributing to enterprise and domain architecture groups.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 5,300 - 7,900 monthly

Key Requirements

•Solid experience in frontend development with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, plus modern frameworks such as Angular, React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
•5+ years as a Frontend Solution Architect (or possibly Tech Lead) building customer-focused applications.
•Strong knowledge of UX principles, WCAG, and accessibility best practices.
•Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and DevOps.
•Ability to guide technical decisions and communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
