  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Support continuous production by keeping machinery running and performing setup, adjustment, and breakdown of production line machinery.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by the Supervisor.
  • •Use Tyson SAP to confirm time, record daily activities, and create equipment history.
  • •Work independently and complete required training while meeting the physical requirements of the job.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 1 year of experience in one or more areas such as mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, PLC troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, AC/DC control wiring, motor control, 3-phase wiring, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, hydraulics, or pneumatic systems, and able to read/understand blueprints.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Ability to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery and perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by the Supervisor.
  • •Learn Tyson SAP software for preventative maintenance and confirm time into SAP to record daily activities and create equipment history.
  • •Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. daily, work on your feet up to 12 hours, and complete required training; must also provide proof of legal work authorization in the U.S. and pass a urinalysis screening (part of post-offer health assessment).
