Key Responsibilities

  • •Set short- and mid-term operational plans and objectives for the application development department aligned with management and sector plans.
  • •Lead and manage staff performance, set goals, recommend training, and advise on resource management to achieve departmental and organizational targets.
  • •Oversee analysis, design, development, implementation, and operations for applications and digital systems; continuously improve performance and reliability.
  • •Manage integration work and application interfaces, ensuring compatibility with government integration standards and effective data exchange.
  • •Supervise DevOps practices, release management, automated deployment, testing/quality readiness, and operational stability/business continuity, including incident and request handling.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Fluency in Arabic and English (speaking and writing).
  • •10+ years in a related field, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • •8+ years in case of advanced degrees (Master’s/PhD) or specialized professional certificates in digital transformation, AI, or application development.
  • •Proven ability to lead and manage application development teams and deliver operational and technical objectives.
