Job Summary

Drive technical development for product solutions in the PSD business, covering reverse engineering, structural design, tooling creation, and new product development. Own work across the project lifecycle from initial concept through mass production launch, including durability/manufacturability-focused structural design, R&D support, documentation, and supplier collaboration. Investigate and resolve mechanical issues during manufacturing and create machine testing procedures to validate reliability and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and contribute to new product development projects, ensuring milestones and quality standards are met.
•Design structural components for PSD parts focusing on durability, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
•Design and plan tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing needs and improve assembly/production processes.
•Select appropriate materials for aftermarket products and define manufacturing processes, maintaining relevant documentation.
•Provide R&D support across project phases and prepare technical drawings, reports, and project documentation to support collaboration and compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Manufacturing, Construction Machinery, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design, process engineering, or R&D within the construction machinery sector.
•Strong knowledge of mechanical structural design, engineering material properties, and processing techniques.
•Experience with aftermarket business processes for construction machinery structural components (advantage).
•Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD for 3D modeling, drafting, and onsite physical measurements, including the ability to manage BOMs.
