DREDGE MECHANIC

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical systems onboard a dredger to keep dredging operations running with minimal downtime. Perform preventive maintenance under the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), support breakdowns, and assist with overhauls of diesel engines, hydraulics, gearboxes, and rotating equipment. Work on dredge pumps, cutter heads, suction systems, valves, and pipelines, carrying out alignment, fitting, welding, and fabrication while complying with onboard HSE and MARPOL procedures and maintaining maintenance records.
