Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and maintain a safety-first attitude and follow OSHA/MSHA and company safety procedures.
  • •Inspect, sample, and test materials using accepted quality control methods.
  • •Perform physical tests on ready-mix concrete and aggregates (e.g., slump, air, unit weight, yield, setting time, compressive strength; gradations, specific gravity, absorption).
  • •Maintain proper mix design parameters at batch plants and conduct spot checks at delivery, discussing adjustments with management.
  • •Record and maintain QA/QC databases, daily logs, and inspection reports; investigate and report complaints about quantity, quality, or performance.

Key Requirements

  • •ACI Field Grade I Testing Technician required.

  • •Must know DOT regulations and be able to understand and follow quality control plans and guidelines.
