Job Summary

Supervise, coordinate, and control preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for drilling equipment, ensuring availability, reliability, quality, safety, environmental, and cost standards. Lead execution teams and contractors with a strong safety culture, manage tools and supplies, validate work procedures, and oversee diagnosis, repair, and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. Coordinate with reliability, production, planning, warehouse, and OEMs, run weekly maintenance planning, and support training for local maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise, coordinate, and control preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for drilling equipment, ensuring safe execution and compliance with standards.
•Provide direction to execution teams and contractors, prioritizing risk control and promoting a positive safety culture through inspections, audits, and incident reporting.
•Supervise diagnosis, repair, and replacement of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components to meet quality standards and ensure correct execution of safe work procedures (SOP), work permits, and risk analysis.
•Manage maintenance planning and execution, including weekly maintenance plan formulation, backlogs review, and closure of work orders in maintenance systems (JD Edwars, Pronto, ZM).
•Coordinate with Reliability, Production, Planning, Warehouse, and OEMs; use predictive tools (oil analysis, vibrations, thermography, etc.) and prepare technical reports on repetitive failures and critical events.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 7 years’ experience maintaining Epiroc PV271 D/E and PV351 drill equipment and Caterpillar MD6640 in workshop and field settings.
•Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree or a relevant trade certificate (e.g., HD Diesel Fitter / Industrial Mechanic / Electro-Mechanic).
•2 years’ experience leading a teamwork.
•Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty mining equipment (Epiroc, CAT and other heavy-duty equipment).
•Experience with CMMS maintenance software (JD Edwards, SAP, Elipse) and strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification/controls, and incident management/reporting.
