Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce code-qualified welds in 1G or 2G positions using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding manually and with automated equipment.
  • •Perform visual weld inspection before, during, and after each welding operation.
  • •Follow safety procedures, identify safety concerns, and take appropriate action during work.
  • •Maintain process documentation (heat lots, welder ID, date on shop travelers) and support NPI teams for prototype, alpha, and pilot builds.
  • •Participate in continuous improvement, support quality compliance through PMAPS/process audits, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment, tools, and fixtures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; AAS in welding preferred.
  • •Prefer welding experience.
  • •Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • •Ability to bend, crouch, push, pull, and reach regularly, and wear personal protective equipment correctly.
  • •Forklift/powered industrial truck operation capability for the Warehouse duties.
