Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate emerging contaminants, environmental technologies, and compliance issues affecting Micron operations.
  • •Analyze environmental monitoring results, source characterization data, pilot studies, and treatment technology performance to support decisions.
  • •Develop technical assessments, recommendations, and reports for environmental treatment systems, compliance strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Monitor and support implementation of evolving environmental regulations across global manufacturing sites.
  • •Partner with EHSS, Facilities, Manufacturing, Technology Development, and Legal teams; leverage AI and digital tools to improve compliance forecasting and program consistency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •5+ years of experience in environmental engineering, environmental compliance, environmental technology, wastewater treatment, or a related field.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills to interpret complex environmental data.
  • •Demonstrated ability to collaborate across global, multi-functional teams and influence technical decisions in a matrixed environment.
  • •Working knowledge of emerging contaminants, compliance issues, and/or environmental technologies in support of operational and compliance decisions (implied by role focus).
