Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain plant protective relaying and associated control circuits, including testing, calibration, functional tests, troubleshooting, and installation of upgrades.
  • •Perform generator relaying, transformer relaying, medium voltage switchgear relaying and transfer scheme maintenance, and plant/switchyard interface relaying.
  • •Maintain plant metering, including MWh metering calibrations, transducer calibrations, and testing of associated equipment.
  • •Test and maintain ancillary equipment and provide outage support by interfacing with plant I&C personnel.
  • •Lead installation wiring verification, checkout, and functional tests; revise and maintain associated drawings; complete documentation for projects and field work.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Completion of PSD requirements in the P&C S*T*A*R program.
  • •Completion of the PSD requirements in the P&C S*T*A*R program and six (6) years as a P&C Technician or acceptable job-related experience.
  • •Significant time in the field performing P&C services.
  • •Able to perform routine travel away from home and work extended hours in strenuous physical conditions.
