Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with safety rules and regulations; be familiar with firefighting equipment in the area.
  • •Monitor and control unit/plant parameters; enter periodic readings on log sheets and summarize shift activities.
  • •Follow instructions of the Shift Charge Engineer and Shift Supervisor; coordinate with other operators during related activities.
  • •Perform inspections during the shift; report abnormalities; execute protection tests and maintain records; perform equipment changeovers per schedule.
  • •Execute isolation activities with Lock Out & Tag Out under approved Permit to Work, normalize equipment when instructed, raise defect notes/work requests, and support near-miss and QHSE deviation reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering or a Diploma in Engineering.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position.
  • •Be familiar with plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, operation/control logics, and emergency operating procedures.
  • •Understand quality, occupational health & safety, and environmental management system principles.
  • •Should be conversant with power/water plant operational activities and have knowledge of firefighting equipment, PPE/safety equipment, first aid, and waste/emission-related topics.
