Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, maintain, and implement new and current features across Wahed mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
  • •Create pixel-perfect, smooth UIs and leverage native APIs for deep integrations with other platforms.
  • •Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks to improve user experience.
  • •Maintain a versioned codebase and write automated unit tests to ensure high product quality.
  • •Transition existing features to React Native while preserving feature parity and collaborate with other development teams on API spec outlines.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 2 years of commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ and React Native.
  • •Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming.
  • •Comfort working with third-party packages, managing dependencies, and debugging dependency conflicts.
  • •Experience with native build tools and environments (XCode, Gradle, Android Studio).
  • •Understanding of REST APIs and offline storage, plus experience with automated testing (e.g., Detox, Jest).
