Job Summary

Provide IT infrastructure, POS, and end-user support for Avolta’s Japan operations, ensuring reliable and secure technology services for both store and corporate teams. You will implement and integrate POS systems for F&B outlets, manage office IT infrastructure and software (including licensing and updates), support help desk troubleshooting, and coordinate with regional/global IT teams and external vendors. The role also supports IT policies, disaster recovery planning, documentation, and compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement and integrate POS systems for F&B outlets, ensuring reliable connectivity, data synchronization between store locations and back office, and security compliance.
•Implement, manage, and configure office IT infrastructure, including networks, internet connectivity, office applications, IP phone systems, and office equipment.
•Support help desk operations for back office and store locations with troubleshooting, user support, and maintenance for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
•Oversee software management, including procurement, licensing, updates, and integration of core business applications such as HRIS.
•Implement global IT policies and disaster recovery plans, manage local IT assets, coordinate vendor and internal IT incident resolution, and maintain IT documentation and procedures.

Key Requirements

•Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
•Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a technical support or IT infrastructure support role.
•Prior POS experience within retail or F&B environments is highly preferred.
•Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
•Strong communication skills with fluency in Japanese and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
