Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough security assessments using manual and automated testing to identify vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications.
  • •Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the application development lifecycle and design security controls.
  • •Perform penetration testing to simulate real-world attacks and produce detailed findings with remediation recommendations.
  • •Contribute to incident response activities by investigating and helping resolve application security incidents with cross-functional teams.
  • •Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and keep stakeholders and development teams informed through training and awareness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • •Proven experience as an Application Security Specialist or in a similar application security role.
  • •In-depth knowledge of application security principles, practices, and common vulnerabilities.
  • •Hands-on experience with security testing tools and methodologies, including penetration testing.
  • •Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, LPT, GPEN, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
