Job Function: Procurement & Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

  • •Source, purchase, and arrange borrowing of assigned aircraft materials, including BFE, retrofit/modification materials, and breakdown spares per procurement policies and engineering procedures.
  • •Monitor overdue orders, backlogs, and vendor performance using KPIs; identify and implement corrective actions to maintain service delivery performance.
  • •Conduct price and lead-time reviews with Contracts Management Unit (CMU) to ensure contractual compliance and challenge supplier deviations.
  • •Manage invoice and stores discrepancies with internal stakeholders and vendors, ensuring timely resolution and preventing supply chain disruptions.
  • •Prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate commercial terms, place purchase orders within approved authority limits, and analyze supply chain data to improve efficiency and cost control.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent).
  • •5 years of experience in Engineering Planning, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Procurement (2.5 years may be considered).
  • •Experience in supply chain functions such as warehouse & logistics, repair management, material planning, material support, inventory control, or technical purchasing.
  • •Knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance philosophies, operational practices, policies, and procedures.
  • •Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
